The Data Bank in the Petroleum Exploration and Production Authority is the main source of petroleum information for the country as it is the department responsible for exercising and implementing the tasks related to the realization of the Authority’s strategy in terms of building an integrated information base on oil exploration and production in Yemen, which enables the Authority to achieve more successes within the framework of its tasks and in light of what It contains information where oil information is considered the main element in the country's oil industry operations, through which all technical studies are carried out to evaluate the petroleum sectors. Oil Database
* Mission
PEPA’s Database is the official Yemeni Exploration and Production patrimony safeguard; it supports the business activity by offering external users (operators, consultants, academic institutions) and local users’ access to various E&P data types.The Database holds a growing collection of petrotechnical information of more than ___ wells in addition to data of 2D/3D Seismic surveys.
* Technical Documents Database
The technical archive is one major entity of PEPA’s Database; it is where all reports of wells, field development projects, exploration and regional studies are preserved alongside with maps and plots paper logs. The database is currently undertaking a scanning project that aims to convert all paper documents into digital formats and make them easily accessible to internal and external user.

* Tape Labrary
The tape library contains seismic and logging data stored in 9 and 21 track magnetic tapes, as well as navigation data and field reports.Seismic and log data stored in the tape library are a valuable record of legacy data most useful in the exploration studies and the promotion of open blocks, as well as the orientation of futures acquisitions.
