Approval Of The Six New PSAs (Production Shearing Agreement ).

The issuance of six laws to approve Production shearing agreements with a number of companies.

Issued, Laws No. 16,17,18,19,20,21 Year 2006 concerning to approval of the production shearing agreements (PSA) between the Ministry of Oil and Minerals and each of the following companies:

1.  Medas Oil And gas FZC in Block ASAKIR (8) - Shabwa governorate.

2.  Medas Oil And gas FZC in Block Ghayl Bin Yamain (68) - Hadhramout governorate.

3. OMV Yemen Almaber in Block Al-MABAR (2) - Shabwa governorate.

4. Oil Search Yemen Almaber in Block JARDAN (3) - Shabwa governorate.

5.  Burren Energy in Block ARYAM (6) - Shabwa governorate.

6. KNOC in Block QAMAR (16) – AL-Mahra governorate.
